CrosseFire held our quarterly Learn-to-lax on 28 Apr 2024, which gathered 24 individuals to try lacrosse for the first time! Despite the rainy weather in the middle of the session, many participants stayed throughout to learn the basics of lacrosse. Check out some photos of the event here!  

In Jan/Feb 2024, we conducted four taster sessions in Republic Poly as part of their Active Play Programme. We had a fantastic time teaching the 30 students and staffs the basics of lacrosse and ending each session with a fun, friendly game of lacrosse. Thank you, Republic Poly, for having us! In a recent Learn-to-Lax session on 17 September 2023 with CrosseFire, 26 eager individuals took their first steps into the world of lacrosse. They learned essential skills like passing, catching, shooting, and ground ball scooping, setting the stage for their lacrosse journey. The session was a resounding success, with participants showing enthusiasm. We’re excited to see their growth and look forward to more lacrosse adventures together. Missed this event? Last Saturday evening, we were joined by many families trying out lacrosse for their very first time @ the Promontory for Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon! Kids and adults of all ages enjoyed themselves as they had a go at passing and catching with each other. Here’s a big thank you to our volunteers for taking the time out to make this event happen! Following our Crossefire ReachOUT activity in mid-August, we managed to attract more than 30 new players from NUS to give lacrosse a try during our 3rd crossefire tryout held over two days at the end of August. It is very heartening to see each of our Crossefire members stepping up to teach and help out the new players, spreading the lacrosse love! Through our tryouts, we hope that we can let more people know about lacrosse and even join us to play lacrosse within the local community! With the aim to spread the sport and the spirit of the game to a wider audience, Crossefire held our second Beginner Tryout session on 28 June 2019. In this session, we managed to gather 5 new players to try out lacrosse. After two hours, these new players managed to pick up the basic skills of lacrosse. They also thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the game. We hope you enjoyed the sport and will join us for more! Our next tryout will be coming up on 23 August 2019. Hope to see you there!
